Colin Campbell

Colin joined Carnbrea & Co in 2014 after spending 8 years as a Senior Wealth Adviser at Wilson HTM and 15 years at the NAB as a Senior General Manager.

At NAB he managed significant business lines covering both institutional and retail products in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Prior to the NAB he worked in financial markets as a trader and desk manager.

He is Chair of the Carnbrea Investment and Asset Allocation Committees and is also a Responsible Manager on Carnbrea’s Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL).

Colin holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Master of Business Administration, Post Grad Diploma – Securities Institute of Australia.

He is a former Board Director and Fellow of the Finance and Treasury Association and Senior Fellow of FINSIA. He is ADA level 2 accredited.

Paul Chin

Independent Investment Committee Member

Paul has over 20 years in the funds management industry across the US and Australasia with Barclays Global Investors, Vanguard, Colonial First State, Jamieson Coote Bonds, Shawlands Capital Management and Advance.

Throughout his career he has managed money across a range of strategies which has included portfolio construction, investment research and delivering investment insights to multiple investors categories.

Paul holds a  Bachelor of Commerce (Monash) and a Masters in Applied Finance & Investments (FINSIA).

He is a Senior Fellow of FINSIA, a FINSIA Industry Councillor – Funds & Asset Management and a FINSIA Regional Councillor (Victoria/Tasmania).

Ben Meikle

Executive Director

Ben has over 15 years’ of financial market experience working in both large corporate and boutique firms.

In his role of Head of Asset Management, he leads the team that manages a portfolio of Funds and Direct Investments.

He is a member of the Carnbrea Investment and Asset Allocation Committees and is also a Responsible Manager on Carnbrea’s Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL).

Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning, Derivatives level 1 & 2, Foreign Exchange and Futures accreditation.

Xinling Han

Senior Investment Analyst

Since joining Carnbrea in 2016, Xinling has been engaged by clients for the design, construction and implementation of strategic asset allocation frameworks, portfolio build-outs and detailed fund manager research. Xinling also provides investment management support to institutional Super fund clients including the design and maintenance of performance reporting and risk management frameworks to comply with SPS 530 requirements.

As a senior member in the Carnbrea Asset management team, Xinling also leads the construction of our Model Portfolio suite and is a member of the Carnbrea Asset Allocation Committee.

Xinling holds a Bachelor of Commerce (University of Melbourne), a Masters of Applied Finance (Monash) and recently completed all three levels of the CFA program.

Lessi Liu

Sharia Investment Analyst

Lessi serves as a Sharia Investment Analyst at Carnbrea. Since joining in 2018, Lessi has been involved in the construction of investment portfolios, strategic asset allocation, investment due diligence, fund manager selection, as well as performance reporting and monitoring. Drawing from her experiences as an Intern Analyst at The SILC Group and Media Insight Analyst at Meltwater, she is committed to delivering high quality, customised analytical work and investment management services to Carnbrea’s clients.

Lessi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, in Actuarial Studies and Finance (University of Melbourne), is alumni of London School of Economics (LSE) and holds a Berkeley Method of Entrepreneurship certificate from UC Berkeley.

Darren Chan

Consultant Investment Analyst

Darren joined Carnbrea in 2019 as an Associate Investment Analyst. Being the current President and Treasurer of a leading public speaking club in Melbourne, and having 2 years of professional experience in Accounting and Data analytics in Mercedes Benz Financial Services, he holds valuable leadership and analytical skills needed to service Carnbrea’s clients and thrive in the current investing environment.

Darren holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Science, specialising in Actuarial Science and Finance (Monash University).

Anthony Modica

Associate Investment Analyst

Anthony joined Carnbrea in 2021 as an Associate Investment Analyst.

Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics and Statistics (University of Melbourne), and is currently undertaking his Masters of Analytics (RMIT).

His background of dealing with complex models and solving dynamic problems positions him well as a valued team member with-in the Asset Management team.

Brendan Moore

Head of Compliance & Operations

As Head of Compliance & Operations, Brendan is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of Carnbrea’s regulatory and operational framework, while fostering a compliant culture. Deriving from over 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Brendan is passionate about building positive working relationships and trust within and outside of Carnbrea.

Brendan’s experience stems from his service in risk and compliance teams at major investment firms Morgan Stanley and Bell Potter.

He holds a Bachelor of Business & Commerce in Economics (Monash University), Diploma of Financial Planning and qualifications across Carnbrea’s entire product offering.

Nicole Dunn

Financial Controller

A qualified CPA, Nicole has over 11 years of finance experience predominately in the Property Industry, having worked with and managed complex accounts for several successful Melbourne property developers.

Nicole joined Carnbrea in July 2018 and manages the finance function being responsible for the delivery of accounting, reporting and budgeting, in accordance with legislative requirements and organisational policies and strategies.

In addition to her CPA qualification, Nicole holds a Bachelor of Business (Swinburne University of Technology).

Lily Ramage

Operations Officer

Lily joined the Carnbrea team in June 2019.

Lily performs the important role of Operations Officer, managing the back-office functions of Carnbrea. Enthusiastic & organised, she is responsible for the smooth running of the Carnbrea office and ensures a pleasant client experience.

Graduated from Elizabeth Blackburn School of Sciences – University High School, Lily believes that the work Carnbrea does should benefit clients and all related parties.
