Investment Management
Carnbrea's disciplined and successful investment strategy and the genuine of the firm enable our team to provide clients with a truly personal service.
Clients tell us that our understanding of their circumstances and financial objectives, and the clear way in which we explain our investment advice, combined with a commitment to total transparency on fees, are significant reasons behind their decision to use the firm's investment services.
Carnbrea holds its own Australian Financial Services Licence. We are authorised to provide advice on Australian and international equities, specialist managed funds, property, fixed interest, cash, Self Managed Superannuation funds (SMSF) and other investments. Our advice is supported by access to the latest investment research and our extensive network of industry contacts.
Portfolios can be run on either an advisory basis, with recommendations made at Investment Committee Meetings and other times as required, or on a fully discretionary basis.
Quarterly or half-yearly meetings are held with each client. Client portfolios are reviewed in line with their ongoing investment objectives and the following agenda items covered together with other matters required by the client:
- Australian and international markets and economies
- Asset allocation
- Existing investments and investment opportunities
- Corporate actions
- Performance analysis
Client meetings may be held at the Carnbrea offices or at a location of the client's preference, offering the opportunity to include other family members, particularly younger generations.
In addition, Carnbrea also offers custody and dealing services. Our custody services offer all the services provided by a traditional stock broking house but with the added advantage of integrated banking. Our structure and size allow for a personal dealing service. Direct access to the dealing desk means customers will always speak to an individual to obtain up-to-the-minute information and news on securities with real-time pricing. We accept dealing instructions from customers or a duly authorised representative by telephone, letter, fax or email.
We have access to a number of the world's major exchanges, allowing us to buy and sell most equities, Corporate and Government bonds, other fixed interest products and access to alternative investments usually only provided to institutions.
